Aunt Marg’s Caramel Corn

Aunt Marg usually doubled this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white Karo syrup
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 tsp. vinager
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 3 quarts poped popcorn

Directions

  1. Boil Karo, white sugar, vinegar, salt and butter to 290 degrees
  2. Add soda and beat well
  3. Pour over corn and stir until all covered
