Aunt Marg’s Caramel Corn
Aunt Marg usually doubled this recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup white Karo syrup
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. vinager
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 quarts poped popcorn
Directions
- Boil Karo, white sugar, vinegar, salt and butter to 290 degrees
- Add soda and beat well
- Pour over corn and stir until all covered
